Before the process of issuance and sharing of VC starts, the following steps must be complete. Please note that they are just an one-timer configuration.
The EarthID SSI platform should be up and running
Each of the Issuer and Verifier organization should create their corresponding private/public pair as well as public Decentralized Identity or DID
Each Issuer and Verifier must have their individual Appnet node up and running
For each type of VC a separate Schema has to be published by the Issuer organization, with all the data with fields to be certified.
For example:
First Name: String (max 30 characters Alpha)
Last name: String (max 30 characters Alpha)
Email-Id: String (max 30 characters with standard email checks)
Type of Membership: String (max 100 characters Alpha-Numeric)
This information would be publicly available on Blockchain.
Note: All the above steps can be handled by EarthID itself and organizations who wish to set up their DIDs and nodes can contact EarthID to get it done by the team.
